It’s been a busy week for green living policies and research this week. So here’s a round up of what’s been happening in case you missed it:
- The Energy Bill has finished its passage through the House of Commons – and the Demand a better bill campaign still say it doesn’t do enough to create demand for the Green Deal
- Defra announced it will ditch sell-by dates to cut down food waste
- Government published its response to the House of Lords behaviour change report, recognising that ‘nudges’, used in isolation, are likely to be less effective than using a range of interventions
- The behavioural insights team published its first annual update
- A Friends of the Earth survey revealed strong support for separate food waste collection. Seventy six per cent of people surveyed believe that all councils should provide the service
