No Impact Man

No plastic bottles, no new products, no meat, no TV, no planes, no subway, no taxis and no lifts. Is it possible to have a good life without wasting so much? New Yorker Colin Beavan, aka ‘No Impact Man’ and his family set out to find out.

No Impact Man, a film about their year without waste is out this Friday in the UK, and it looks great. How will a family with a two year old daughter and a self-confessed TV, fructose and corn-starch addict wife cope?
