This blog is a home for debate on UK environmental policy and politics. As well as providing our own view we invite leading commentators from business, government, NGOs and academia to share their thoughts and ideas. The views of external contributors are not necessarily those of Green Alliance.

Comments policy:

Stay on-topic: stick to the subject of the post you are commenting on and be concise. Off-topic comments (even if reasonable, polite and interesting) may be deleted. Comments that contain links to inappropriate, irrelevant or commercial sites may also be deleted.

Be polite: comments which contain inappropriate language or which abuse others may be deleted. No personal attacks or accusations.

Advance the discussion: we welcome evidence-based comments and links to useful resources. Persistent comments along the lines of “this is just alarmist/denier nonsense” with no supporting evidence may be deleted.

No party political campaigning: Green Alliance is politically neutral, and we will not approve comments that are seen as campaigning for a particular party.
